With the coming of the mobile home in the 1970s, the 113-lot waterfront community of Paradise Village was built, complete with seawalls and docks. Deeded to be only mobile and manufactured homes, the community has original homes to state-of-the-art structures. The lots, homes and docks are individually owned, with common properties for the use and enjoyment of the community. The canals, seawalls, roads and amenities are part of the common property. Homeowners pay monthly dues for the upkeep and management of the common properties with a manager employed to help maintain and coordinate the daily functions of the community.
